That is a genuine inclusion. If you were going to pay somebody to file your Articles of Organization anyway, a stretch of free agent service on top of it is money you keep, and there is no reason to refuse it out of loyalty to a company you have not hired yet.

The complication is not the free months. It is the date they end.

The Standalone Rate Waiting on the Other Side

Bizee's registered agent service costs $149 a year on its own. That is also the amount that begins billing once your complimentary window closes, and the window length varies by tier, so the exact date depends on which package you chose rather than on any single rule you can memorize.

Fifty dollars a year is not a scandal. It is simply a recurring difference that compounds quietly on a service whose output never changes, and the only reason it usually goes unexamined is that the charge starts on a date most owners have already forgotten by the time it arrives. Put that date in your calendar the week you form, whichever provider you end up keeping.

Where Your Agent Sits Can Cost You a Newspaper Ad

One Arizona rule deserves attention from anyone forming here, because it attaches to the agent rather than to the company. A newly formed Arizona LLC must publish a notice in an approved newspaper within 60 days of the Commission approving its Articles of Organization, except that the requirement falls away when the statutory agent's street address sits in a county of more than 800,000 residents, which in practice means Maricopa or Pima. The address on your appointment is therefore not a neutral detail. It decides whether you spend part of your first two months arranging newspaper publication at all.

$99 is low. It is not the lowest. BetterLegal lists $90 annually and that number beats ours, which is worth stating on a page that spends its length criticizing other people's pricing transparency. Among Arizona's published annual rates ours sits near the bottom of the range, and it stays there permanently, which is a different promise from starting there.

From Bizee to a New Statutory Agent: Form L020

Arizona charges an LLC $5 for the change, submitted on Form L020, the statement of change authorized by A.R.S. § 29-3116 and filed with the Corporations Division of the Arizona Corporation Commission. Corporations file their own version at no cost.

Get the appointment in place before the form goes out. Arizona will not treat a new agent as effective until the Commission holds that agent's signed acceptance, so hiring us produces both the consent and the street address the L020 asks for, and the record moves from one valid agent to the next without an interval in between. Filing does not close your Bizee account, though. Cancel that separately or the $149 keeps arriving on schedule regardless of what the state's database says.
